CareMyMed is a premium medical referral platform that bridges the gap between primary care and specialized treatment. We focus on creating high-trust referral networks that ensure patients get the right care at the right time, while rewarding medical professionals for quality outcomes.

The "Referral Black Hole" in modern medicine

Medical referrals are often where patient care goes to stall. Traditional systems rely on paper trails and fax machines, leading to a 30% drop-off in follow-up appointments. Patients feel lost, and doctors lose visibility on the care journey.

At CareMyMed, we noticed that doctors were hesitant to use digital referral tools because they felt like "just another data entry task." The referral volume was stagnant despite a growing network of specialists.

The challenge was twofold: we needed to make the referral process frictionless for doctors and incentivized for patients to follow through. How do we double referral volume by finding the right balance of professional utility and user motivation?

Incentivizing the outcome, not the action

Our initial hypothesis was that doctors needed financial kickbacks. But medical ethics and regulations (rightly) make this a non-starter. We had to look deeper at what actually motivates a medical professional.

We pivoted to Professional Reputation and Ease of Care. Doctors want to know their patients are in good hands and that they'll get a report back quickly. For patients, the incentive was "Priority Access"—skipping the queue for specialists.

The hypothesis

By providing doctors with real-time feedback on patient outcomes and giving patients a "Fast Track" status, we can create a virtuous cycle that naturally increases referral rates.

Referral rates jumped from 2.1% to 5.2% once the "Fast Track" label was added to patient cards.

Building the Care-Chain
